The Rapid To Hold Job Fair

Are you or someone you know seeking employment? The Rapid is hosting a job fair on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Rapid Central Station located at 250 Grandville Ave. SW on the second floor Community Room.Jobs Next Exit

The Rapid is seeking exceptional candidates that excel in customer service to fill Bus Operator positions to start training in May (6 to 8 openings) and June (10 to 12 openings). All bus operators start in a part-time status. Part-time bus operator’s work up to 29 hours a week at an hourly rate of $17.91.

To qualify, applicants will need:

– A valid Michigan Driver’s License (CDL certification preferred but not required at time of hire)
– A commitment to safety and customer service
– Excellent dependability
– Flexible scheduling (ability to work any shift, 7 days a week)
– Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
