Motivational Monday: The Salvation Army

Volunteer at Salvation Army

We partner with FOX 17 to bring you inspiring stories of organizations doing amazing work in West Michigan.

The Salvation Army may be an international organization, but they’re making a big impact locally. Throughout West Michigan, The Salvation Army provides a variety of services for individuals and families throughout West Michigan. Available services include food pantries, assistance with paying electric or gas bills, providing housing assistance, and so much more. Essentially, to help people get back on their feet.

The Rapid is a big part of ensuring individuals can get to and from The Salvation Army, as well as providing employees with reliable transportation.

For more information and to learn more about volunteer opportunities in the area, visit sawmni.org or call (616)-459-3433.
